Updates on a major deal. Diomandi avoids risks for the sake of “Real”.

Real Madrid are continuing to work towards a deal for Ivorian Leipzig winger Yann Diomande as talks between the two clubs continue with no final agreement yet reached.

According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Sky Sports Germany correspondent, Real Madrid and Leipzig are yet to agree a deal for Yann Diomande after fresh talks today.

“It was confirmed by all parties involved,” Plettenberg continued. “If nothing exceptional happens by midnight, the negotiations will continue tomorrow morning.”

“The deal is still pending. Diomande was also in Leipzig today, training with controlled physical activity to avoid jeopardizing the deal. Real are under pressure to complete the deal this week.”

Diomande is 19 years old and plays as a winger. He joined Leipzig in the summer of 2025 from Spanish side Leganes and had a remarkable season in the German league.

Paris Saint-Germain are also in the running for the deal, and there are also reports that Liverpool and Manchester City are interested in the Ivory Coast star.
