United Rugby Championship: Cardiff prospect Wild Ospreys

Wilde, who made his United Rugby Championship (URC) debut in a brief cameo against the Zebras in November 2025, signed a long-term deal before the Ospreys moved to Cardiff.

“We felt it was not only a good opportunity but also the right thing for Harry to develop his game by going to a high-performance team, hopefully getting some more playing time at URC,” Cardiff head coach Corniel van Zyl said.

The Ospreys have signed the versatile Australian Lawson Creightonwho can play at fly-half, center or full-back and Mark Jones is happy to add to his depth.

“This move is a great example of Welsh clubs working together to benefit the national game,” said the head coach.

“It gives us more quality depth in our 10 options and for Cardiff it ensures that one of their young prospects gains valuable exposure to high-level competition.”

The former Wales under-20 international will play Super Rugby in Cymru for Cardiff’s second team when not involved with Wild URC.
