Under the leadership of Al-Taamari, the Jordanian national team has released its historic roster for the 2026 World Cup

Jordan coach Jamal Salami of Morocco has announced the final list of players participating in the 2026 World Cup, Jordan’s first-ever World Cup appearance.

The list saw the presence of star Moussa Al-Taamari, Rennes’ French specialist, at the top of the elements selected for the World Cup competition, while Salami decided to exclude Muhammad Abou Ghosh and Youssef Kashi from the final list.

The Jordanian team is set to compete in Group Ten, which includes Argentina, Algeria and Austria, in a group that looks tough for the Nashama team in their historic first appearance.

Jordan’s roster included 26 players and was as follows:

Goalkeepers: Yazid Abu Leila, Abdullah Al-Fakhuri, Nur Bani Atiya.

Defense: Abdullah Nasib, Yazan Al-Arab, Hossam Abu Al-Dahab, Muhammad Abu Al-Nadi, Salim Obaid, Saad Al-Rusan, Ihsan Haddad.

Midfield: Anas Badawi, Muhannad Abu Taha, Muhammad Abu Hashish, Ibrahim Saadeh, Amer Jamous, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Nour Al-Rawabdeh, Rajai Ayed, Muhammad Al-Daud, Mahmoud Al-Mardi, Odeh Al-Fakhuri.

Attack. Musa Al-Taamari, Muhammad Abu Zureik “Sharara”, Ali Azaiza, Ali Alwan, Ibrahim Sabra.

Salami is banking on Al-Taamari’s experience and a number of elements that led Jordan to make history by qualifying for the World Cup, hoping for positive results in Al-Nashama’s first appearance on the world stage.
