The pro-Israel Trump coalition is sitting down with the president of Ukraine as he says Russia is helping Iran kill US soldiers.

Laura Loomer, an American activist and close ally of US President Donald Trump, met and held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, returning years of hostility to Ukraine.
Loomer said he interviewed Zelenskyy on Thursday on his TV show Rumble, after he told his nearly 2 million followers on X that he was wrong to repeat Russian lies.

A right-wing commentator said he doesn’t care if Republicans who oppose Ukraine abandon him. “They will see how bad Russia is as they continue to supply Iran with weapons to kill US soldiers while they want President Trump dead,” he wrote in a social media post.
Loomer had long criticized US aid to Kyiv, calling Ukraine corrupt and full of “anti-Nazis”, a charge Russia has invoked to justify its 2022 invasion of its neighbor.
He also called Zelenskyy a “Jihadi apologist” for meeting Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa.
On Tuesday, Zelenskyy’s office praised the visit, saying “it is very important that (Loomer) is in Ukraine and will see things with his own eyes”.
Loomer calls himself a “proud Islamophobe”, who often attacks Muslims and Muslims on his websites. He is a staunch supporter of Israel and Trump’s deportation policies.
Although he does not have a position in the Trump administration, according to US reports, he has a close relationship with the president. He was given Pentagon press briefings last year.

The current US government is forced to end the war. Trump promised to resolve the conflict on the first day of his presidency, but his diplomatic efforts, including several phone calls and meetings with Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin, have yet to materialize.
