UFC: Jessica Andrade says she works as a delivery driver to make money


Former UFC strawweight champion Jessica Andrade says she is working as a delivery driver to make extra money while recovering from injury.

The Brazilian, 34, has not competed since losing to Lupi Godinez last August, when he suffered a shoulder injury.

Andrade has fought 30 times in the UFC since his debut in 2013, winning 17 of his bouts.

“I work as a delivery driver. I deliver food and stuff like that. I just take orders through an app and deliver,” Andre Dr, outsider Brazilian MMA Podcast Diretto de Vegas.

“I do whatever it takes. I’m not afraid of hard work. I can do anything.”

Andrade said he started a landscaping project at his friend’s house, which included removing rocks, mowing the lawn and painting the fence.

Andrade said in 2018 that he sold his UFC clothes, backpack and gloves because he was struggling to get sponsors, but added that he was “paid really well” in the promotion.

In 2023 she said she had fought her divorce five times, while the following year she accused former coach Gilliard Parana of withholding money from her. Parana has denied all allegations.
