Tyson Fury claimed a seventh-round TKO over Mariusz Wach at the Max Muay Thai Stadium in Thailand on Friday as the British boxer moves one step closer to his blockbuster fight against Anthony Joshua.
After Fury dominated the opening six rounds, Wach appeared to signal the fight to his corner before the officials ended the contest.

Anthony Joshua has responded to Tyson Fury’s claim that he is not interested in seeing him fight, casting doubt on a possible fight between the two later this year.
After the fight, Fury explained that he was suspicious Joshua will be able to go through with the fight against Prenga on Saturday.
“I gave my test tonight. Let’s see (Anthony Joshua) in his test (against Christian Pringle tomorrow night),” Fury told Sky Sports.
“The biggest test of all of this is how big his balls are.
“I think he’s a big room. In front of 70,000 people at Tottenham, he never had the courage to step into the ring and face me.
“Let’s see if he ever does. I’m not convinced.”

In the second round, the Brit landed three unanswered jabs, and appeared to be using his full arsenal on the watch, but he wasn’t going down without a fight either, landing a big blow on the former heavyweight champion.
The watch began to look tired as Fury continued to land hard jabs on the 46-year-old, and many looked to the pole’s corner, wondering when they would call the fight after taking a barrage of uppercuts in the fifth round.

After taking more heavy blows from Gypsy King in the seventh round, Wach’s leg wobbled as he backed into the corner, before collapsing on his stool before the fight ended.
Fury later explained his decision to fight Wach was not only related to getting more rounds under his belt, but also to adapt to the rigors that come fight week.
“People say, ‘Why is he fighting here? He only did 12 rounds in April.’ Of course, I’m going to fight again.
“I’ve had one fight in two years. This is my second fight in two years. Of course, I wanted to go round. I wanted to be active.
“It’s not just boxing in the ring. The week of the fight, the press conferences, the weigh-ins, the nerves – everything spills over.”

Eddie Hearn hits back at Tyson Fury’s claims he was worried about a potential fight against Anthony Joshua
Joshua said Thursday that Fury would be welcomed ringside in Jeddah, to watch him take on Prenga.
But after Friday night’s fight, Fury explained that he was going home to see his wife, Paris, and their children.
“I’ve been away for the last six or seven months,” he told Sky Sports.
“I’m definitely not going to Jeddah. I’m going home to my wife and kids who are supporting me from afar.
“I’ve been in training camp for 10 weeks. Before that I was away for four months, so I’m going to go home and rest.”
