Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua: Frank Warren says Joshua’s lack of heat ‘kills’.

The head of Queensberry Promotions, who represents Fury, 37, said the ‘King of the Gypsies’ would earn a huge payday against Joshua and the £80m he earned against Oleksandr Usyk in 2024.

Warren, however, said Fury doesn’t want to leave the ring too often and could fight before facing Joshua at the end of October.

Fury bounced back from a 15-month layoff by defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov on 11 April in London.

“Tyson wants to be busy. That’s the mindset he has. He goes to the gym for his mental health and his body when he’s in the gym,” Warren said.

“He needs attention, the day he fights, and we don’t have that day right now.”

Warren said he expects the loser of the Fury-Joshua fight to retire or both could hang up the gloves after a one-fight deal.

“Tyson has made it clear he wants to fight (undisputed champion Oleksandr) Usyk again, so maybe that’s an option,” Warren said.

Warren, who is funding the Fury-Joshua fight in Saudi Arabia, wants the fight to take place at Wembley Stadium.

“It’s a place where everybody wants to see the fight,” Warren said.

“It’s the national stadium – it’s where it’s at. We’ve had some good nights there in the past and it means a lot.”
