Tyson Fury remains unconvinced that Anthony Joshua will agree to a long-awaited blockbuster British showdown, questioning whether his rival has the “guts” to face him.
Fury, following a seventh-round stoppage of Mariusz Wach in a non-televised bout in Thailand on Friday, mentioned Joshua not getting in the ring with him following his win over Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April.
Joshua’s own tune-up fight ahead of a possible clash with Fury later this year comes in Saudi Arabia on Saturday when he fights Christian Prenga in what will be his first outing since he was a passenger in a car crash in Nigeria in December that killed two of his close friends.

Speaking ahead of Fury vs. The Watch, Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn hit back at Fury’s claim that he was worried about a potential fight against A.J.
Fury said of AJ: “I’ve done my test. Let’s see if (Joshua) passes his test. The biggest test is how big his balls are. I think he’s a big house.
“In front of 70,000 people in Tottenham, he didn’t have the guts to get in the ring and face me. Let’s see if he ever does. I’m not sure.
“I’ll be regrouping. Hopefully the next big fight will be signed next week, and we’ll just keep going wherever we go.
“Is it going to be in Vegas? Is it going to be in New York? Is it going to be in Ireland? Is it going to be in London? Who knows, maybe Belfast? It might even be in Pattaya, Thailand!”

Joshua responded to Fury’s claims of not being interested in seeing him fight, casting doubt on a possible fight between the two later this year.
Fury: I’m definitely not attending the AJ fight in Jeddah
Fury – who could clash with Joshua at Wembley at 2am to work for a global audience – has maintained he will not travel to Jeddah to face AJ this weekend.
The 37-year-old said: “I’ve been away for the last six or seven months. I’m definitely not going to Jeddah. I’m going home to my wife and kids who are supporting me from afar.
“I’ve been in training camp for 10 weeks. Before that I was away for four months, so I’m going to go home and rest.”
Fury’s record is now 36-2-1, his 40th career fight now likely against Joshua.
Fury also insisted he would have to fight Polish veteran Wach three months after his points win over Russia’s Makhmudov, adding: “I’ve had one fight in two years.
“This is my second fight in two years. Of course, I wanted to go round. I wanted to be active.
“It’s not just boxing in the ring. It’s fight week – press conferences, weigh-ins, nerves, everything.”
