Tyreek George: Everton agree £24m deal for Chelsea forward after loan spell


Everton Agreed a deal worth up to £24m with add-ons to sign Chelsea Winger Tyreek George.

The 20-year-old spent the second half of last season on Merseyside, with a loan deal and an option to buy permanently for £25 million.

Everton Upfront fee renegotiated to £18m with remaining £6m in add-ons based on European qualification and appearances, while Chelsea Includes a 15% sell-on clause.

Made 11 appearances for George EvertonStarted once, but impressed manager David Moyes, who called him “a great lad with a fantastic work rate” at the end of his initial four-month spell at the club.

George, an England Under-21 international who arrived ChelseaIts academy, available for transfer over the past 12 months, was in talks with RB Leipzig last summer, with a £22m move Fulham Collapsed on transfer deadline day in September 2025.

With the contract now subject to personal terms and a medical, George is set to become EvertonHis second summer arrival follows a £16m deal, not including add-ons, to be signed Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough.

German attacking midfielder Merlin Rohl has also made his loan from SC Freiburg permanent after a successful spell last season, while Idrissa Gana Gueye and Seamus Coleman have left at the end of their contracts.
