Ex Everton Midfielder Leon Osman, who played under Moyes, sympathized with the youngster’s plight.
Osman told BBC Sport: “This year has been a lesson, I expect him to come in at the start of next pre-season looking ready to compete for a first-team place.
“Now it’s been a whole year to understand what is expected of him, but in all this we must not forget that Tyler is a young man who is known to be a very good family man.
“He’s moved the length of the country to live in a completely different environment where he doesn’t know anyone, so that’s a big step in itself for any young man.
“And he does it with the reserved weight that comes with a huge price tag, a completely different football club culture that people expect him to deliver every time. There has to be a level of awareness.
“Everton It’s a different environment to many other football clubs, so it’s not always easy to hit the ground running, but the talent has shown that if he gets down on his knees and works as hard as he can, it’ll pay off for him.
Osman believes that the era of debilitating is in the shadows. Everton Moyes is an example of how to develop young players.
As we saw during his time at Southampton, there is no doubt that Dibiling is hugely talented, naturally gifted, and dribbling football brilliantly. He was a free spirit.
“When you get to the next level you have to learn a lot and that goes double with the expectations of what you have to do off the ball when you play for David Moyes’ team.
“That’s one of the reasons I took a little bit of time to show David Moyes that I can do it, but that’s one of the reasons I stayed in the team because what you do off the ball with David Moyes can often be more important than what you do on the ball.
“David knows very well that there’s no ‘one size fits all’ way of going about it. He knows talent. He understands characters. I think his knowledge of character has really stepped up since then.” Everton Because he is up to date with the modern player.
“He’s kept himself young by keeping the next generation around, so he’ll help this generation. I think he’ll get everybody what they want.”
“You have to show that you can work for the team and you can work off the ball. Yes, you can make mistakes going forward, he understands that goes with the territory, but you have to work defensively because there has to be balance in the team.”
