Two coaches for one mission… Moroccan reinforcement for the Benhashem team in the Egyptian league.

Questions about the roles of technical staff members

Ahead of the start of the new season, Moroccan coach Mohamed Amin Benhashem continues to make his mark at Modern Sport Club, after completing the formation of his technical staff with a host of Moroccan talents as part of his plan to rebuild the squad and fight for promotion in the Egyptian Premier League.

According to Radio Mars, Modern Sport have signed Moroccan coach Bouchaib Lembarki to fill the role of “first assistant coach” based on the selection of Mohamed Amin Benhashem.

There are now four Moroccan names in the team’s technical staff, as Zuhair Laroubi trains the goalkeepers and Tayeb Lacrone supervises the physical training.

This is Boucheib Lembarki’s first experience outside the Moroccan professional league after a coaching career with a number of local clubs, most recently Olympique Dchira.

The nature of Lambarki’s specializations in the new set-up is not yet clear, especially as Modern Sport announced the appointment of Egyptian Ayman Abdel Aziz, a former Zamalek star, to the same position under the title of “Head Coach” approved for the job in Egypt.

In mid-June, Modern Sport announced the appointment of Mohamed Amin Benhashem as the team’s technical director, just days after terminating the contract of Reda Shehata and his technical staff, who had taken over the responsibility of replacing Ahmed Sami on 9 June.
