Reef’s Messages and Your Letters may be your WhatsApps, but this new era of TFI makes a lot of sense. You can still give off that “first pint at the pub” vibe, your appetite depends on how much Chris Evans energy you can put into it. Priya Elan
Wuthering Heights (Emerald Fennell, 2026) 8.25am, 8pm, Sky Cinema Premiere
Emerald Fennell has done a great job of singing shame in her new adaptation of Emily Brontë’s novel The Tempest. But aside from the casting of a white actor (Jacob Elordi) as the non-white Heathcliff – and an unexpected S&M episode – this is the romance most fans could wish for. Margot Robbie plays Cathy as a disillusioned passenger torn between the high life and Shazad Latif’s Edgar and the worldly passion offered by the uncouth Heathcliff. For his appearance, Fennell goes gothic, a la Guillermo del Toro, with a stormy sky, uncontrollable sex on the moor, spectacular costumes and amazing interior design, where a love story begins to boil.
