In 1958, Kim Novak starred in the biggest movie of all time, Vertigo, but less than a decade later she retired. In order to shed light on the life of hardships and lows, Alexandre O Philippe’s documentary features a candid interview with the then 92-year-old. She opens up about her glamorous upbringing, being groomed for fame, her struggle to manage her career in a male-dominated industry – and the image of Hitchcock.
