This is Jack Thorne’s slow-burning new drama about the relationship between two churchgoers and their communities. In the opening episode, when Anna confesses her “immortal feelings of lust” to David, he doesn’t respond as expected – but it will force him to rethink his whole life. Does she really want to start over outside the convent? And are his thoughts on Hot Priest 2.0 one-sided? Jason Watkins and Niamh Cusack also star. Hollie Richardson
