TV tonight: can Maura Higgins stop Traitors US? | | Television

The Traitors US

9pm, BBC Three
The American version – with OTT celebrities and host Alan Cumming in some unusual choices – has proven to be a fun watch. As we reach the climax, “Housewife Slayer” Rob hopes to inform singer Eric of his murderous ways, while former gymnasts Tara and Johnny reveal their hidden relationships. And will ex-Love Islander and Irish pride Maura Higgins find out about the Traitors before she becomes one of their latest victims? Hannah J Davies

Marlow Murder Club

8pm, U&Drama
A chance to discover a thrilling mystery drama based on the novel by Robert Thorogood. When retired archaeologist Judith Potts (Samantha Bond) hears gunshots, she teams up with the teacher’s wife and a dog walker to investigate. Hollie Richardson

Who Do You Think You Are?

Get the tissues ready… Ruth Madeley in Who Do You Think You Are? Photo: BBC/Wall to Wall Stephen Perry

Actress Ruth Madeley comes from a proud Amancunian family and is surprised to learn that Ruth’s grandmother was raised by her parents – and that she came from Peckham. Ruth, somewhat distraught, takes a train to London (“I knew it would end there!”) to learn the full story. Keep a tissue box close at hand for those last revelations. HR

Cornwall: A Year by the Sea

8pm, Channel 5
“I’m a keeper,” says Ron of the Padstow farm his family has worked hard on for more than 150 years. Now, his son Ross is catering to a new generation of clean eaters, with daily meals from produce grown around the world. Elsewhere, fisherman Martin Murt thinks he’s cracked the catch for scallops, using experimental underwater lighting. Ali Catterall

Garbo: Where did you go?

9pm, Sky Arts
First released last year, Lorna Tucker’s documentary chronicles Greta Garbo’s rise from a Stockholm slum to Hollywood. Was he really a reluctant star? His own letters, seen here, show that, but there are also good silly and fun ideas. HR

Defendant: Beyond Reasonable Suspicion?

10pm, Channel 4
It’s the final installment in a series of less-than-stellar crimes involving miscarriages of justice. In 2012, former firefighter David Bryant, a well-loved figure in Christchurch, Dorset, was accused of sexual misconduct dating back to the 1970s. He insisted he was innocent, but was later sentenced and endured what he described as a “living hell”. HJD
