TV tonight: a police thriller for fans of Line of Duty | Television

Prisoner

9pm, Sky Atlantic
Lean, the Line of Duty-esque police drama finds newly released prison officer Amber (Big Boys’ Izuka Hoyle) on her way to pick up Tibor Stone (Snake’s Tahar Rahim). He plays a prisoner so dangerous that he can’t even trust his insulin pump. Even with the worst crimes, the police need his evidence to bring down the gang. Brilliant news, including Eddie Marsan playing against type – what’s not to love? Priya Elan

Saint-Pierre

8pm, U&Alibi
These sometimes two languages, which are always far away in Canada have one big thing in common: its wonderful oriental style. The Bastille Day massacre sees Arch (Josephine Jobert’s Death in Paradise) and Fitz (Allan Hawco) drawn into the world of the game you might ask: but what is happening? Hannah J Davies

Taskmaster

9pm, Channel 4
Our five actors try to create something boring: Joanna Page crushes sheep; Amy Gledill makes a “wooden lady”; and Kumail Nanjiani make a dish called “Racial Harmony” that combines kebabs with strawberry jam. (Greg Davies: “I never thought I’d say this, but race relations make me sick.”) Ali Catterall

The Traitors India

The remake of the Indian drama takes place in the “mystery palace”, where 20 contestants were impressed by Karan Johar’s camp. In this three-part opening, the show’s most vivid form extends to the participants, whose accusations are more controversial than in the UK. Lucinda Everett

Big Mood

10pm, Channel 4
Camilla Whitehill’s dark drama about mental illness has once again leaned on its double-edged sword, but is it too light-hearted? The finale of this double-header sees Maggie (Nicola Coughlan) trying to save Eddie (Lydia West) from cultish-guru Whitney, before a grueling trip to 2010. HJD

The Little Woman

10pm, Sky Atlantic
The US comedy continues to destroy Matthew Macfadyen’s talents as delusional scientist Les. While dealing with a new boss at work, his unfortunate wife, Lindy (Elizabeth Banks), has two visitors to her doll’s house: a human, who is welcome, and a fly, who fights her to the death. Jack Seale
