It’s time for the best or worst music of the year! For the 70th year of the competition, the last 20 games will light up the Wiener Stadthalle stadium in Vienna – except for Spain, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands and Slovenia, who are not participating due to the participation of Israel. As ever, Graham Norton is on hand with a razor-sharp commentary, and the hope of the UK is in the electro act Look Mum No Computer with his song Eins, Zwei, Drei. Hollie Richardson

She was working in PR when she married Prince Edward so perhaps it should come as no surprise that Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh was able to shed the scandalous sting in 2001 and transform into a respected and trusted monarch. This wind profile shows his rise under the radar in the House of Windsor. Graeme Virtue

In the cold and disturbing atmosphere that many modern crime shows deliberately lack, this US series shows Clive Owen as Dashiell Hammett’s detective Sam Spade, retired from the south of France in 1963 but now investigating the terrible murder of six sisters. When the case begins, Spade finds himself in danger. Jack Seale
10pm, Sky One
The confirmation of a well-deserved second season of the variety show shows that the series has delivered more than it promised. Expect excitement at the final stage where the transport of this country will be led by former Time Lord Ncuti Gatwa. Music comes from indie-pop singer Holly Humberstone. Phil Harrison
The Testament of Ann Lee, out now, Disney+
Mona Fastvold’s dramatic drama about the founder of the Shakers Christian cult in the 18th century defies the simplistic category – perhaps that’s why it was unfairly shunned at awards time. In the heart and history: A cotton worker in Manchester, Ann Lee (a very strong performance from Amanda Seyfried) joins the Quakers, then creates her own group based on celibacy, and ends up immigrating to America in search of religious freedom. It’s a beautifully crafted classic, based on the lively singing and dancing of the Shakers. And it’s a heartwarming tale of female empowerment in a time when the barriers to independence were high. Simon Wardell
The Teachers Lounge, 9pm, BBC Four
The school’s conceit as a microcosm of society is well used in the German play İlker Çatak. Leonie Benesch plays new teacher Carla, who investigates a burglary in the staff room. Issues of racism, control, trust and mutual trust between teachers, students and parents begin to develop as what they discover disrupts the entire institution – most focused on their favorite student, Oskar (Leonard Stettnisch). The excellent Benesch shows compassion, as Carla tries to do the right thing when circumstances overwhelm her. SW
