Trump warns that ‘hell will break loose’ if Iran tries to get a nuclear weapon | US-Israel War on Iran News

At the G7 meeting in France, the US president made unusual criticisms of Israel’s war in Lebanon.

United States President Donald Trump has warned Iran that “hell will break loose” if it tries to get a nuclear weapon, and he has also criticized Israel for its military intervention in Lebanon in unusually harsh comments during his visit to the G7 summit in France.

The non-proliferation agreement reached with Iran will ensure that the country “does not have a nuclear weapon” or “it will be blown up,” Trump said on Tuesday before a meeting of the two countries with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the sidelines of the meeting in Evian-les-Bains.

“This deal is a nuclear wall,” Trump said.

“The only thing that matters to me is that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, and it says that loud and clear.”

Trump said that he thinks Iran “has a good leadership now”, and the leaders who “were not wise” are “now gone”, after the attack by the US and Israel killed many Iranian officials at the beginning of the war.

The agreement between the US and Iran must be signed in Geneva on Friday, after which the two sides will have 60 days to negotiate a final agreement.

Trump said the second round of talks should be “easy”.

Trump was angered on Sunday after Israel’s attack on Beirut threatened to end difficult negotiations with Iran, writing on his Truth Social platform that the attack “should not happen, especially on a special day when we are so close to a peace deal with Iran”.

In a statement on Tuesday, he said he had a “great relationship” with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu but that the Israeli leader “must have a greater responsibility in Lebanon”.

Trump said Israel has fought Hezbollah “for too long and many people are being killed”.

“You don’t always have to demolish houses when you want someone because there are many people in the houses – and not all of them are Hezbollah,” he said.

“I suggested to Israel that they should let Syria take care of Hezbollah because to be honest with you, I think they would do very well.”

Asked if the US-Iran alliance could survive even if Israel launched more attacks in Lebanon, Trump said: “It can.

“I think it’s a small battle,” he said. “Iran is the big one, but we have a small group that raises its head all the time and that is Hezbollah.”
