The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced the first agreement to solve the problem US-Israel war with Iran and “planning to sign tomorrow”.
But the announcement, made on Trump’s Truth Social account on Saturday, contradicts what Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said.

In a statement carried by Iran’s IRNA news agency, Baghaei said the agreement will not be signed on Sunday and that the negotiators are not planning to travel to Geneva, Switzerland, to prepare for such a ceremony.
According to Baghaei, the signing could take place “in the coming days”.
A few hours later, Trump tweeted, “The deal must be signed tomorrow, and as soon as it’s signed, the Hormuz Strait ALL.” Sunday is Trump’s 80th birthday.
Today, Iran and the US have done it repeated contradictions each other in explaining the details of the expected agreement, as both sides indicated that the agreement was closer than ever.
However, no official statement has been released, while US and Iranian officials on Friday stressed that the deal has not been finalized.
Continue to open the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said on Saturday post that the agreement will be “WALL TO NO NUCLEAR WEAPON!” and that “no money can change hands”.
Trump also said that “at the right time, when everything is calm, we will go in and take the nuclear dust”, referring to Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium.
But speaking on Iranian television on Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the first agreement would be the starting point for negotiations on the future of Iran’s nuclear program.
He added that the signing would result in an immediate cessation of hostilities, but that Iran and Oman would continue to control the Strait of Hormuz.
The issue of lifting foreign sanctions against Iran and freeing the country’s economy will be discussed following the signing of the agreement, Araghchi said.
The latest talks come after the US and Iran held two days of trade talks this week, threatening to temporarily end the war that has been raging since April 8.
The US and Israel declared war on Iran on February 28, amid indirect talks about the future of Iran’s nuclear program.
The US and Israel also launched a 12-day war on Iran in 2025, during another round of nuclear negotiations.
Iranian officials say strong US reluctance has slowed progress on a long-term deal to end the current conflict.
Mr Trump has repeatedly promised to implement an agreement that would surpass the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which was carried out under his Democratic rival, former President Barack Obama.
The deal, which Trump withdrew unilaterally in 2018, saw Tehran agree to curtail its nuclear program and allow visits by other countries to lift sanctions.
For years, Iran has maintained that it is building a nuclear program for civilian use and that it does not want nuclear weapons.
In his posts on Truth Social, Trump also promised that any deal that would be reached would be stronger than the JCPOA.
“Our relationship with Iran is very different and better than the previous administrations have had,” he said.
“We hope that all of this will be done quickly, easily, and efficiently,” he added.
If not, we have a great alternative, hopefully never to be used again! he wrote, without explaining the meaning.
