Trump denies the promise of ‘no new wars’ – but he campaigned on it

President Trump, who has been campaigning for the United States to refrain from war, denied this promise in a television interview. Asked on NBC’s “Meet the Press” about the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran, Trump said, “I have not guaranteed no war.”

BBC Confirmed On the campaign trail in 2024, he found plenty of examples of “no war,” reports Lucy Gilder.
