Tour de France 2026: Tadej Pogacar wins fifth Tour as Mathieu van der Poel takes 21st place

One of the most entertaining riders in the race was Ecuador’s Richard Carapaz of EF Education-Easypost. He toiled in the race before coming into good form to claim the King of the Mountain polka dot jersey.

He Level 18 won and Saturday Level 20 First, after completing the highest point of the race and 5,450 km from the climb.

The green points jersey was awarded to Liddle-Trek Pedersen, who, after riding hard on the slopes, is not usually strong enough to hover in the middle stages. Stage four winner.

He beat several runners to the jersey, including Alpine-Premier Tech’s Japser Phillipson. Philippson won the 17th stage, while fellow Belgian Tim Merlier won the Sudal-Fast stage. Three cluster sprint levels.
