Tim Cook confirms that price hikes are coming for iPhones, iPads, and Macs

We are doing everything we can to limit the large increases that are being offered to us, and we have been trying to protect our customers from increases, but things have gotten out of hand.

Cook would not say when Apple plans to raise prices or which products will be affected. The company has already done so they stopped selling Mac Studio with 512GB of RAM in March and later raised the starting price of the Mac Mini down to $799 after you drop the cheapest $599 option on its list. An expert named Tim Culpan also said this Apple can stop the basic configuration of the MacBook Neo, while keeping the $699 model with 512GB of storage.

As AI companies continue to demand more memory in their data centers, vendors are struggling to keep up. This shortage has led to higher RAM and storage costs, as well as higher prices across the board game consoles, laptopand other materials.

“It’s less at a time when consumers are looking for equipment and the recall community is going through a big price hike,” Cook says WSJ. “We really need recall prices and offers to get back to shopping.”

Apple plans to phase out its current lineup of iPhones later this year, though it’s unclear how big a price reduction the memory loss will be. The WSJ comparison that the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro could cost $1,299, a jump from the $1,099 iPhone 17 Pro.
