TikTok is testing an AI facial recognition tool

Developers who are part of the TikTok test and want to use the tool will have to verify their identity. a company called Jumio. You have to do a real selfie scan and ID check, but Kizer says “TikTok does not store ID documents, and facial recognition is only used to compare images and help identify potential unauthorized use of the creator’s profile.”

After verification, TikTok’s system analyzes the content created by AI that can use the creator’s profile. From there, the developer can review TikTok’s content and show unauthorized posts and accounts.
