Threads are finally getting online DMs

About a year after you released Threads direct messages to everyone on mobileThe meta is finally bringing the look to the internet. Meta says “I’m testing” online DMs right now, but they want to make this feature “available to more people soon.”

On your online DM page, you can see your inbox and requests. Just like on mobile, you can also choose to allow anyone to DM you or the people you follow. So does the company preparation for testing group chat online – group chat and available on mobile – and it is also working on “many controls.”

“While there’s nothing better than a good conversation in the comments, we know you all love being in the DMs,” according to Thread sir Connor Hayes. Web DMs have been “the #1 request since we introduced texting on mobile,” and he says “Our people who are dating spend a lot of time online because they’re at their desks, they’re logged in, they’re using Threads a lot.”

Threads also started testing (very good) new look for online platforms.
