Some of these extras are more important than others, especially if you’re thinking about what to buy early. For example, a a case and a security cover it can protect your console from drops, scratches, and stains, so all of that is what I consider important. If you’re not a fan of how the Joy-Con 2 feels to use, a cheap but good wireless controller It can’t hurt, though.

On the other hand, a MicroSD Express card allows you to add digital games to your library, although the console’s generous 256GB of internal storage means you may not need one right away. Some accessories don’t add enough to the gaming experience to justify the price. Those Joy-Con 2 controllers? You can probably get through it.

The best controllers for the Switch 2

Our list of the best Switch 2 controllers is constantly changing. It started with a series of Nintendo adaptations great, but imperfect Switch 2 Pro controller which costs $90. The adapter supports 4K transitions at 120 frames per second and HDR (although the adapter only supports 60Hz at 4K), or 1440p and 1080p up to 120 frames per second. You can also use it as a dock for your tablet or laptop, as its USB-A port is useful for wireless dongles or charging small devices.

The best cameras for switch 2

If you use Nintendo’s GameChat feature, you’ll need a webcam to show your face to friends. The best camera you can get for your Switch 2 should be the cheapest one you can find that is guaranteed to work. Almost everything Logitech websites support Switch 2. Or, if you’re like me, you’ll just plug it in when it’s time to download a game. The Switch 2’s Wi-Fi is very slow when it comes to downloading games, even if you have a fast internet connection. Plugging this accessory into any of its USB-C ports increases speed significantly.
