This is MSI’s Claw 8 EX AI Plus smartphone


MSI has unveiled the Claw 8 handheld gaming PC ahead of the Computex 2026 show, and the model replaces the previous Intel Lunar Lake mobile processor for a unique mobile processor. MSI describes the Claw 8 EX AI Plus as a “world first” with the recently announced features. Intel Arc G3 Extreme processorwhich features Xe3 GPU cores to run games.

We must realize that Acer Predator Atlas 8 and OneXPlayer 3 Mobile games are also expected to launch with chips, but MSI may be the first out of the gate. The Claw 8 EX AI Plus also has a small NVME M.2 SSD slot for gaming and data storage, and supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5x dual-channel memory, although MSI did not specify which RAM configuration will be available. The launch date and price have not yet been announced, but the previous ones MSI Claw 8 AI Plus it was $1,000 when it was launched last year.

What we do know is that the new MSI Claw 8 EX AI Plus features an eight-inch 1920 x 1200 screen that runs at up to 120Hz. It also has a new chassis design with modified grips that aim to be comfortable during long games, in addition to Hall effect triggers and sticks that provide precise steering. MSI says that the new high-end engine is set to be faster and more efficient and “more powerful” – although it doesn’t say what you can expect from the battery.

Only one color appears to be available, which MSI calls “Void Purple.” We’ll have to wait and see how it goes in the real game, but it can’t be worse than that Bad first MSI test by providing a strong sports grip.
