iRobot has announced a new line of Roombas, one year after it was discontinued primary lidar vacuums before it happens bankruptcy filing. This week, it introduced eight robotic vacuum cleaners to its previous lineup and featured lower prices, some as low as $200 (about $270) cheaper. Major changes include greater suction power, a smaller size for easy movement around your home, more models with roller mops, and the introduction of “hot spot mopping.”
iRobot, itself he resumed and now it is his Shenzhen Picea Roboticsthe first Chinese manufacturer of robotic vacuums, says that its new line is 25 percent smaller than the “most” models, which allows them to move around in homes with few seats, down to 9cm. The bots also have increased suction power and better navigation along the line.
The new models will be launched in mid-2026, beginning in North America and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and Roomba 415 Combo and 115 Combo apparently they are arriving first, as they already are listed on iRobot.co.uk like coming soon.
iRobot just delivered Seaside and UK prices; the line starts at £229 (about $309) for the base model 115 and goes up to £799 ($1,080) for the flagship 775. The first line started at £249 and went up to £999 – a price of $299 to $999 in the US. The exact specs and features of both robots have yet to be released, but here’s what we know so far.
The top model is the Roomba Max 775 Combo, priced at £799. This has a 30,000Pa suction (compared to 705 images 16,00Pa), Roomba’s signature dual rubber brushes, which are ideal for removing hair from carpets, are a protective vacuum with a new hot feature.
This adds a “high-temperature spray chemical to loosen sticky, dry particles” before washing begins, according to iRobot. The vacuuming feature is new to robot vacuums; it started on Ecovacs Deepot X12 Omnicycle, which was launched last month. However, this concept was first seen on iRobot’s original robotic floor mopper, and Braava.
The 775 comes with an AutoWash port that empties the robot’s tank, rinses its pump with hot water, and dries it with hot air.
The Roomba Max 715, priced at £549, is a vacuum robot with the same specs and a vacuum port. Both use iRobot’s advanced lidar navigation and cameras, AI-powered barrier detection to navigate around your home and avoid getting stuck on things like cables, shoes, and household clutter.
The mid-range Plus line consists of the Roomba Plus 615, £599, and the 675, £699. These are also combo mopping-and-vacuuming robots with roller mops, making the feature more affordable. Both have a new hot mopping feature and offer “up to 20,000-30,000Pa” of suction, according to iRobot.
These models use iRobot’s standard lidar navigation combined with a camera-based, AI-powered barrier, instead of the more advanced 700 series. The autowash docks also have a different, more useful interface.
The Roomba Plus 575 Combo, also priced at £599, is a vacuuming robot with two spinners and a suction power of up to 20,000Pa. This is a big jump from the previous 500 models, which provided 7,000Pa. It uses iRobot’s standard lidar navigation and camera-based navigation. The 515 Combo, £549, and the 415 Combo, £449, have the same features but omit the camera recognition.
Finally, the entry-level Roomba 115 Combo, £229, offers 15,000 Pa of suction, a big jump from the 7,000 Pa of the original model. It has a removable, washable microfiber pad with a water tank for spraying. For an additional £70, depending on iRobot.co.ukyou can get 115 with an empty port.
The larger line is in line with the way iRobot’s competitors, such as Ecovacs and Roborock, operate, offering several models with minor differences at multiple prices. Obviously, this is to help people find the right robot rescue for their needs and budget, but it can be difficult to sift through everything to understand what you’re getting. We plan to test these new models and will report back when iRobot releases more.
