Al-Ittihad Club are close to returning to the current summer transfer market after receiving new support in the last few hours.

Saudi journalist Ahmed Al-Ajlan tweeted that Al-Ittihad coffers have received financial support, stressing that the club will sign more than one deal before the new season.

Al-Ittihad have already been linked with the signing of a number of players, but have so far been unable to sign any of them due to limited financial opportunities.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi team will play the first official match in the new season on August 11 in the AFC Champions League elite qualifying playoff against the Emirati club Al-Jazeera.
