The Uruguayan attacker warns. Saudi Arabia defeated Argentina

Uruguay forward Federico Viñas has warned of the difficulty of the upcoming showdown with Saudi Arabia next Monday night AEST at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Regarding his Argentina coach Marcelo Bielsa’s instructions and his potential role alongside Darwin Nunes in the front line, Phineas said:

“If the question (the deployment of two attacking pairs) is confirmed, I can easily play next to the open striker, because I have done it at some point in my career. I think having two open forwards allows you to share the tasks, press, attract defenders and perhaps allow my partner to receive the ball more freely.”

“I can easily drop back because I do that at Real Oviedo, but I’m also a player who can put pressure on the two central defenders to create chances, in this case for Darwin. I know how to play both roles, I won’t have a problem with that.”
