The upheaval in the Union forces Conceicao to turn to Al-Nusairi

Al-Ittihad coach Portuguese Sergio Conceicao has again called on his Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nessiri due to injuries sustained from multiple injuries.

Conceicao had deliberately marginalized Al-Nusairi in the last two rounds as he left him out of the Al-Etifaq match and then introduced him in the second half against Al-Shabaab.

However, a spate of injuries for Al-Ittihad, led by Hussem Awar and Steven Bergwin, forced Conceicao to return Al-Nusairi to the starting line-up for their clash with Al-Qadisiya in the last round of the Rushen League on Thursday evening.

Al-Nusairi has suffered greatly since joining the ranks of Al-Ittihad due to the public criticism he has repeatedly faced due to his poor technical level.

According to media reports, Al-Ittihad management are planning to get rid of Al-Nusairi at the end of the current season, despite signing him just 6 months ago.
