Real Madrid management are considering the return of Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho in an attempt to restore discipline and respect in the Royal dressing room next season.
Real Madrid went without a title for the second season in a row amid ongoing crises inside and outside the green rectangle, with tensions building that erupted last week in the form of the Valverde-Tzuamini row.
Mourinho, who previously coached Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, is now closer to taking on the task of restoring order to the Merengues.
“It is said that the first contacts have already taken place, waiting for the final confirmation of the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, but the speculations do not stop growing,” reports Sport.
After yesterday’s Clasico, journalist Ciro López made a blistering announcement on Radio Cadena Kobe that Mourinho’s contract with Real Madrid will be announced when the season is over.
“Mourinho is not lying when he says he has not spoken to Perez about the possibility of signing him,” but representatives of the Portuguese coach, such as Jorge Mendes, have already spoken to the club.
According to Ciro López, “All that remains is for Jose Mourinho to call and sign the contract.”
