The replacement of Quansah…the official formation of the Anglo-Norwegian battle

England coach Thomas Tuchel has announced the composition of his team that will face Norway on Saturday night in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup.

The Three Lions reached the quarter-finals after a thrilling 3-2 win over Mexico, while Norway beat Brazil 2-0.

Tuchel brought John Stones into the starting line-up to make up for the absence of Jarel Quansah, who was sent off for the Mexico match.

The composition of England was as follows.

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford

Defence: Ezri Konsa, Nico O’Reilly, Mark Guehi, John Stones

Midfield: Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, Elliott Anderson

Forwards: Anthony Gordon, Noni Madueke, Harry Kane

The composition of Norway is as follows.

Goalkeeper: Orian Nyland

Defence: Christopher Eyer, David Muller-Wolf, Julian Ryerson, Thorbjorn Lysaker Heigham

Midfield: Sander Berge, Martin Odegaard, Patrick Berge
