The policeman who molested two women and carried out the third attack was sentenced to 10 years.

In the year Cameron Ross assaulted another woman in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis between 2012 and 2014 before assaulting another woman in Inverness between 2019 and 2022.

Ross, 39, resigned last month after the allegations came to light and was suspended from Police Scotland in January 2024.

He denied the charges but was found guilty by the jury A hearing at the High Court in Edinburgh in May.
