The number of “Real” is in danger. “Barcelona” is on the verge of a historic victory in La Liga

Pat team Barcelona Only 90 minutes left to set a new record in the history of the Spanish league.

Barcelona’s official website reports that if the team manages to win against Real Betis at the Spotify Camp Nou in the last round of La Liga, they will achieve the historic feat of winning all the matches they have played at home during the 2025-2026 season.

The feat has not been repeated in La Liga for 40 years, particularly since Real Madrid achieved it in the 1985–86 season, but Barcelona’s record will be surpassed historically as no other team has achieved it since the tournament expanded to 20 teams.

At Catalan club level, the feat had been absent from the Blaugrana’s coffers for 66 years, with the last season in which the team achieved a complete record at home dating back to 1959-60 under coach Helenio Herrera, when the competition consisted of just 16 teams, noting that the team achieved the same result the previous season as well.

Before these two seasons, Barcelona managed to win all their home matches in the 1952-1953 season under the guidance of coach Ferdinand Daucek, at the old Les Corts stadium.

Barcelona achieved this feat for the first time in the 1948-1949 season, when the tournament included only 14 teams and Barcelona was led by Uruguayan coach Enrique Fernandez also at Les Corts.
