The summer market is heating up
“Al-Nasr” and “Al-Ittihad” clubs entered into a new battle to acquire the star of Italian “Milan” in the current summer transfer period.
And he said Italian website Calciomercato Al-Nasr and Al-Ittihad have included AC Milan midfielder Youssef Fofana in their interest list to sign him in the current summer transfer window.
Turkish side Besiktas were the closest to signing the 27-year-old in the last few hours before the Saudi pair swooped in.
Milan, for their part, are not averse to the idea of giving up Youssef Fofana, provided they receive an appropriate sum of no less than 20 million euros, a figure which the Italian club is looking to increase following the arrival of the Saudi pair.
Al-Nasr are looking to sign a defensive midfielder in the current summer transfer window to compensate for the departure of Croatian Marcelo Brozovic at the end of last season. He is already close to signing Portuguese Samo Costa from Real Mallorca.
Al-Ittihad, on the other hand, are looking for a player in the same position to compensate for the departure of Brazilian Fabinho at the end of last season, and his name has been linked with several players, most notably Moroccan Sofian Amrabat, Egyptian Marwan Attia and Nigerian Raphael Onedika.
Fofana is considered one of the prominent players of “Milan”, since he was transferred from “Monaco” in the summer of 2024. In the last season, he participated in 36 matches with them, during which he became the author of 2 goals and 4 assists.
