The Hundred’s eight teams have unveiled a new team trophy for combined participation in the men’s and women’s games alongside new-look kits for the 2026 edition of the tournament.
With 50 days to go until the opening match between MI London and Leeds Sunrisers, the tournament has announced that the new team trophy will reward combined efforts in both the men’s and women’s competitions and will be awarded in addition to the men’s and women’s trophies.
“I really like the idea of a team trophy,” said London Spirit’s Jamie Overton. “The Hundred was quite novel in terms of bringing men’s and women’s teams together – when you look at other sports, nobody else has really done it like cricket.

“I think that’s a pretty big reason to enjoy the crowd at The Hundred.
“The London Spirit women’s team has obviously had a good run in the competition over the last few years.
“I know we’re keen to emulate their success in the men’s team so hopefully this will help give both teams some extra motivation.”

The Hundred has really been the most exciting part of the summer for us,” echoed Kate Cross of Sunrisers.
“The way it’s played in the school holidays and in front of big crowds, means it’s always a great atmosphere and we love being a part of it.”
The Hundred are asking supporters to submit suggestions for the name of the new team trophy, with results to be confirmed at a later date.
