In September 2025, the Global Sumud Flotilla will depart from Barcelona, Tunis, and Sicily. 50 ships intend to provide aid and open the way for humanitarian aid to Gaza. Among those sailing are two filmmakers.
Carlos Perez is from Mexico riding Hio. Australia’s Juliet Lamont is on the Wahoo tour. Their journey is full of ups and downs as the flotilla approaches Gaza. Israel warns of a battle zone, but the boats move forward.
Suddenly, water cannons hit, ships disappear, and crews are arrested. Through the eyewitness accounts of Carlos and Juliet, we see their harrowing experiences of threats, torture, and imprisonment.
