Barcelona have revealed their stance on selling Uruguay captain Ronaldo Araujo in the summer transfer window, given his lack of involvement with the Blaugrana last season.

Araujo, who is fully focused on preparing for the World Cup with Uruguay, recently made it clear that he has no intention of changing clubs, that he is very happy at Barcelona and that his aim is to finish the remaining years of his contract.

The Catalan newspaper added that German coach Hansi Flick is counting on him and despite his limited participation last season, he considers him an important element of the Catalan team.

Granted, Araujo was 16th in total minutes played after knowing he would have to sit out due to anxiety issues, but he came back even stronger after recovering.
