The FBI says it will no longer investigate ICE

According to New York TimesFederal officials have been told that the FBI will no longer be investigating disputes involving ICE agents. DHS and DOJ rejected the policy change The Times.

The proposed change to the guideline follows a new review of the violence and ICE agents who have killed two people in the last two weeks. Shots in Maine and Texas it was just the latest in civilian deaths at the hands of ICE agents, who have tried to do just that to intimidate witnesses following his recent murder.

The new directive will end the FBI’s investigation into the abuse of DHS agents. The government is pursuing criminal charges against protesters and other people who have had temporary or accidental contact with the delegation.
