Following the departure of Robert Lewandowski from Barcelona, the Catalan club are looking for a top-class striker to fill the gap in light of their plans to challenge for all the titles next season under coach Hans Flick, who has won titles in the last two seasons since his arrival.
Barcelona have been tracking Nigerian star Victor Osimen for some time, but any potential move to land him would require a major financial commitment.
According to Turkish journalist Yagız Sabuncuoğlu, Galatasaray club will only consider offers starting from 140 million euros to include Osihen.
The accolade comes after an impressive 2025-26 season in which Osichen was named Turkish Super League Player of the Year and helped Galatasaray retain their domestic title.

The 27-year-old has been impressive throughout the season, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists in 32 games for Galatasaray in all competitions.
In the Turkish Super League, Osihen scored 15 goals and 5 assists in 22 games, and in the Champions League, he also stood out in the Champions League, scoring 7 goals and three assists in 10 games, including a memorable hat-trick against Ajax.
His astonishing brilliance also extended to the international arena as he scored four goals and provided two assists in six games for Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Barcelona are expected to strengthen their attacking line this summer, but Galatasaray’s asking price could be a major obstacle to any deal.
