Google’s upcoming Pixel line may cost more than last year. A report from Dealabs written by 9 to 5 Google suggests that Google may raise the starting price of the 41mm Pixel Watch 5 to $399, and adding LTE may drop the price to $499.
That’s a $50 jump from the original Pixel Watch 4, which starts at $349 for Wi-Fi and $449 for LTE. Meanwhile, the larger 45mm Pixel Watch 5 is said to cost $429 with Wi-Fi only, or $529 with LTE, marking a $30 increase from the previous generation.
A different report is Dealabs details the possible prices in Europe for the Pixel 11. The report shows that Google can stop the cheapest 128GB storage option for the Pixel 11, raising the starting price of the device to €999 with 256GB of storage, while the Pixel 11 Pro can start at €1,199. Last year’s Pixel 10 model cost €899 with 128GB of storage, while the Pixel 10 Pro started at €1,099. While the base price of both devices may increase, the price of the 256GB configuration is said to remain the same.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold could be added 100 euros across the range, putting their starting prices at €1,399 and €1,999 respectively, according to Dealabs. These price hikes should not come as a surprise, as equipment manufacturers in many industries are struggling and global memory and storage limitations due to the increasing number of AI companies.
