The effects of the Hamdallah crisis hit Saudi youngsters ahead of the Al-Nasr Clasico

An administrative crisis has hit Al-Shabaab’s attack 48 hours before the upcoming El Clasico following the decision to send off Morocco’s top scorer Abdel Razak Hamdallah.

Algeria’s Nour El-Din Zikri, Al-Shabaab Al-Saud coach, faces a tough technical test to find an alternative to lead the line in the Round of 31 clash against Roshen League leaders Al-Nasr.

Zakri has presented multiple options to compensate for the absence of Abdul Razak Hamdallah, who has been ruled out of next Thursday’s clash against Al-Nasr by administrative decision, according to a private source in Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiya.

The newspaper confirmed that Zakri is choosing between Jordan’s Ali Al-Azaizeh and Haroun Kamara to play alongside Belgium captain Yannick Carrasco in the front row.

Zakri is expected to make several changes to the squad during Tuesday’s main training session, notably the return of Switzerland’s Vincent Ciro to the starting line-up to make up for the absence of Ali Al Asmari, who was suspended for card-stacking, in addition to Dutchman Wesley Hodet, who completed his disciplinary absence and suspension.

The newspaper points out that the youth department decided to punish Hamdallah by suspending him from Al-Nasr’s match and group training for seven days, amid reports that he may not continue until the end of the season, despite attempts to calm the situation and reverse the decision.

Zakree is expected to rely on eight foreign players against Al-Nasr: Brazil’s Marcelo Grohe, Holland’s Wesley Houdet, France’s Yassin Adli, Belgium’s Yannick Carrasco, England’s Josh Brownhill, Jordan’s Ali Al-Azaizeh, Switzerland’s Vincent Ciro and Spain’s Unai. Brazil’s treatment and Spain’s Unai Hernandez continues treatment.

Al-Shabaab are 13th in the Saudi Roshan League table with 32 points and have four matches remaining in the season against Al-Nasr, NEOM, Al-Ittihad and Al-Najma.
