The DOJ is suing, saying it denied ICE’s requests for concealment licenses

“Posting false information, harassment, or attempts to misuse the platform will be removed,” the About page said.

Dominick Skinner, who has the ICE List, said Wired that he “does not believe that what ICE List does is problematic,” particularly because “ICE List does not post the home addresses of identified agents.”

In a Press releasethe DOJ said it considers harassment to be the sharing of “a victim’s social security number, home address, home phone number, cell phone number, and email address.” An incomplete Ars review site that looked at 100 profiles of ICE agents on the ICE List only showed information posted publicly.

DOJ has no evidence of doxing

Trump’s administration has often relied on the non-threatening mention of doxing forcing platforms to block social media posts reporting ICE events or linking to sites like ICE List, Freedom of Information Act cases have said.

But there is a notable lack of arrests to substantiate the claims.

As recently as January, the DOJ did he insisted that ICE officials are facing an 8,000 percent higher death rate. But the press release did not explain where the figures came from.

Instead, the agency shared the transcript of one voicemail that was left for an ICE official in Minnesota on January 24. In it, the caller does not directly threaten violence, but appears to be trying to intimidate the official by saying that he “hopes” that his wife and mother die and that “everything that goes wrong in your life happens.” He tells the officer that he “believes” the officer has been “hit by a bus” and is “disabled.” And he ends by calling the officer “a traitor to the American people” and urging the officer to “kill yourself.”
