Liverpool have outbid Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund in an early summer deal, according to renowned Spanish Marca journalist Matteo Moreto.
Today, Friday, Moreto said through his account on the “X” platform. “Atletico Nacional’s rising young star Samuel Martinez will move to become a new player in Liverpool’s English ranks.”
“The interested parties are currently working on finalizing the official documents and documents to finally close the negotiations, as the agreement is expected to be closed for approximately one million euros, and the Colombian club will retain a percentage of the player’s future sale value.”

“Once the attacking midfielder turns 18, he will officially sign a five-year contract with Liverpool FC, who sealed the deal for him ahead of other big European clubs such as Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund.
Samuel Martinez is 17 years old and can play in all midfield and attacking positions.
The deal comes as part of the Reds’ efforts to compensate for the departure of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah from Anfield at the end of the current season.
