Scherra explained that the contract includes a clause that allows it to be extended for an additional season until the summer of 2028, noting that Italian coach Vincenzo Italiano played an important role in convincing the player of the club’s sporting project, which contributed to the final stage of negotiations.

He added that the Besiktas administration is currently working on the final details to finalize the official announcement of the deal, amid expectations that it will be completed within the next few days.
