The confusion is caused by diarrhea, but it’s still Taylor Farms

Officials on Monday also confirmed that iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms appears to be the source of the Cyclospora, many microorganisms that cause explosive diarrhea.

The statement was made to clear up the confusion that began to spread over the weekend due to incorrect testing from the Food and Drug Administration– who Taylor Farms celebratedto cause confusion. However, the details of the risk remain worrisome, especially given Taylor Farms’ public disclosures.

On Friday, the FDA, along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, announced that the FDA’s investigation into the incident was concluded at Taylor Farms. When the FDA said its investigation was conducted at Taylor Farms, the agency said that, repeatedly, the trail led them to iceberg lettuce grown in Central Mexico and supplied by Taylor Farms, which also goes by Taylor Fresh Foods.
