The biggest damage to the Xbox even banned games on the disc

The Xbox outage that began Sunday evening hasn’t just caused problems for people trying to play digital games — it’s also prevented people from playing their disc-based games.

Xbox is social media page they first reported an outage on Sunday around 11PM ET, and it has also prevented people from logging in, installing apps, or finding games on the Xbox store. This morning, the site also said that users “may have problems” playing digital games disc gameswhat it posts on social networks confirmed. At that time, my friend Richard Lawler he finished to install the digital games they had, but trying to launch games tied to Game Pass resulted in an error code 0x87e107df, indicating that the license could not be verified.

The site still says that users may experience issues with digital compatible games and backends, but it also suggests that disc-based games should still work.

Xbox, you at 4:38PM ETit says it’s “still working to figure out what’s needed.” The company did not respond to a request for comment.

Our own Tom Warren recently said that Xbox is and testing something that will give users a digital copy of the games they have on disc. Such a blackout, however, shows the system’s low level of coordination of verification requirements even for real games.
