“Unlimited” is a funny words. Unlimited cell phone plans often come with a long list of terms, conditions, terms, and more. Mercifully, all of the Big Three companies have, for now, stopped wavering on their overpriced plans and included 5G data access in all of their unlimited plans. However, there are significant differences in the services they provide, and there are significant differences between different groups of providers.
Cheaper “unlimited” plans offer unlimited talk and text. But they still have rules about how much data you get before they start running fast, and some “unlimited” plans can throttle your data at any time. It has been developing cell plans for many years.
It can be overwhelming, which is why I’ve broken it down. Below, I’ve highlighted which three major carriers offer “unlimited” individual and family plans to help you determine which unlimited plan is best for you and your budget.

T-Mobile has the best 5G experience among the big three, the fastest 5G speeds, the fastest downloads and the best reliability, according to an analysis by OpenSignal and Okla. The carrier also claims to win on price, when you consider perks that include entertainment bundles, in-flight WiFi, and access to satellite data in the event of an emergency.
T-Mobile has changed its unlimited offering this year but still offers three (or four) main unlimited conversations and articles: Essentials, Find out more, and Events. The only two Experience plans offer unlimited 5G data without throttling or throttling (for example, causing your phone to wait in the data queue behind other, more important phones, when it’s most needed.)
For jet-setters and those who want to upgrade their phones regularly, Learn more it is the cheapest smartphone among all services. This adds in-flight WiFi, 4K video, 60 gigs of mobile streaming speed, a modicum of international data, AA membership, ad-supported Netflix, and a cheap ($3) Apple TV. It will also help you upgrade your phone every two years so random kids don’t laugh your old iPhone off the shelf (yes, this has happened to me.)
If you want three or more lines and you’re a new T-Mobile customer (or a 5-year T-Mobile customer), you can get a better deal. Less time Good Price plan is true., probably the best mobile connection at the moment. For the same price as the 3-to-5 Line Experience More plans, you add free ad-supported Hulu, access to T-Satellite’s emergency network, unlimited hot-spotting, 30 gigs of global data in hundreds of countries, plus additional watch and tablet lines for just $5 per line. With the exception of phone upgrades every two years instead of every year, the benefits are better than T-Mobile’s top plans, at a much lower cost. This sale price is also locked for 5 years.
