ESR Geo Wallet Stand: Apple’s Find My app lets you track your device if it’s lost, and ESR’s Geo wallet has it built into the wallet itself. This is the bag I’ve been using for the past few weeks, and outside of its Find My ability, I love that it strikes a perfect balance between size and use. ESR says it can hold three cards, but I’ve been using mine with four cards – three plus my ID – and I can easily get them all out. Although having a case with magnetic pins is awesome—the Find My part requires a battery that lasts three months—you can turn it off if you don’t care (but then, you’ll probably just have to buy a different case). It does suck that you need a separate charger to top up your wallet, though. The magnet sticks well to the back of the phone, and you can open the case and use it as a kickstand. ESR also includes a strap on the back that doubles as a phone.
OtterBox Symmetry Series Cactus Leather MagSafe Wallet: This case is nice and simple, thin, light, holds power for my phone, and offers a dedicated fabric-covered slot on the bottom to push cards out (I was able to fit three without too much trouble). This OtterBox bag is made from cactus-patterned leather, which feels as luxurious as real leather. Just be aware that cactus leather is not as environmentally friendly as it is made out to be – these cases are still included. and plastic components.

Spigen MagSafe Classic LS Wallet: This stylish bag takes design inspiration from the classic Macintosh computers. Gray may seem a bit harsh, but any Apple fan will be happy with the computers of the past. It’s a great value, with room for up to three cards. I like the thumb, which makes it easier to get your cards out.
PopSockets Kick-Out PopWallet: This MagSafe bag has PopSockets fasteners, and a hinge so you can push it in a hurry. It’s simple and works just as you want it to, and it could be your go-to if you want a bag that can do it all. However, I had trouble getting it to work properly, and it just came out on my phone. For these reasons, I recommend it and keep it, I think it would be better if it were more secure – especially since getting it to hold three cards is a bit of a stretch.
Avoid These Wallets
Oh snap! Snap Grip Wallet: I had high hopes for this one, mostly because of the design. The case is aluminum, can hold up to eight cards (depending on whether or not they’re letter-mounted), has MagSafe support, and comes with a handle that doubles as a kickstand. Unfortunately, the handle is made of plastic, and it broke after a short time (it can’t be folded back into place). The magnetic grip is not as strong as other MagSafe wallets, even though I have an official MagSafe case for my phone. Nothing is better, especially at this high price.
Banks 600D MagSafe Wallet with Stand: The Benks 600D MagSafe bag may be made by Kelvar, but it’s not clear. The inside of the shell is plastic, and after a day of use, I noticed a crack in the plastic near the hinge. Worse, I tried applying a little pressure to see if the hinge would stay in place, which messed with the MagSafe ring. Even without the obvious problems, this bag wouldn’t be at the top of the list. It’s cheap at $30 and comes in a nice variety of colors, but it only holds three cards, and there’s no easy way to get them out.
Apple FineWoven MagSafe Case: Every time this wallet is disconnected from your iPhone, you will get an alert and you can check it in Apple’s Find My app. It has a single slot that can hold up to three cards, but to get the cards out, you have to remove them from your iPhone and push the cards up through the back slot. Unfortunately, Apple’s MagSafe bags use the company’s FineWoven material (made from recycled materials). It’s a laudable effort to reduce reliance on leather production, but several WIRED analysts say things aren’t going well in the long run.
Travel Loc8 Universal MagSafe Slim Wallet: My cards tend to fall out of this wallet if I don’t have it full, making it an obvious “Do Not Recommend” choice when many other similar wallets don’t have this problem.
