The Colombian star has moved between eight different teams in seven years
The American club “Minnesota United” officially announced the departure of Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez, just six months after joining.
The club had an option to extend James’ contract until next December, but did not activate it, knowing that the former Real Madrid player has played only eight games with the Minnesota team since last January.
With James Rodriguez now a free agent, he must now look for the 14th club of his professional career.
The player of the Colombian national team is 35 years old. He led his country to the 2026 World Cup, reaching the last 16Before losing to Switzerland on penalties.
However, his club situation seems more fragile. Since his spell at Bayern Munich between 2017 and 2019, the playmaker has never spent more than one season at any club, moving between eight different teams in seven years.
